Creamsicle Morning

"Creamsicle Morning" 6" x 6" Oil on hardboard

Morning arrived dense and cool as a Creamsicle on a stick. The colours of that day burned off as the sun inched above the horizon, leaving us with mostly sunny for the day. 

It's February, but soon enough, we'll see green again here in the midwest.  And Creamsicles will be an enticing treat.

She rose without sound or fury, just as she always had; without exception, without hesitation, every minute of every day somewhere on the planet.   I just happened to see her in this place, on this particular day.
