Long Fields

"Long Fields" 1.5" x 6.5" Pastel on sanded paper

The Iowa landscape still resonates with me long after I visited there in July. This tiny painting reminds me how the fields looked, demarcated with trees and shrubs, like stitching between strips of fabric on a quilt.
